Shear Blades and long knives

In shear cutting, workpieces are separated between two shearing knives. Shearing knives always work with a lower knife, which serves as a counter-tool during cutting processes. These machine knives have a specific cutting characteristic. The upper knife shears past the edge of the lower knife with a small air gap. Maintenance: As with other machine blades, it is important to regularly sharpen shear blades and long blades to ensure consistently high cutting quality.
