ROLLING SHEAR BLADES
Rolling shear blades are cylindrically ground circular blades used on slitting machines (slitting lines) to separate sheet metal. The material quality of these precision parts depends on the material type and thickness of the sheet to be split. Stainless steel sheets pose the most problems during separation, for example, due to burr formation. In addition to the flatness and surface quality of the rolling shear blade, the clearance settings (cutting clearance) are also crucial to keep burr formation to a minimum. The shearing plane must therefore be precisely adjusted.
Carbide rolling shear blades are characterized by their wear resistance and service life. High-quality machine blades, circular blades, and round blades are essential for precise cuts.
