CIRCULAR KNIVES FOR CUTTING SYSTEMS

In cutting systems, several circular knives with knife holders and several lower knives can be installed side by side, or a cutting sleeve can be installed as a grooving knife. Depending on the cutting system, the knife spacing can be freely adjusted using self-locking knife holders (sleeves) or spaced apart by installing spacer rings. The upper circular knife, which is installed in the knife holder, is placed against the lower knife, creating a scissor cut. This cutting process is particularly suitable for slitting paper and foil.
