CUTTER KNIVES

Cutter knives are sickle-shaped (arched) cutting knives mounted on a shaft and used in so-called cutting cutters. Depending on the knife system, the cutter knives are separated by spacers. The cutter knife consists of a sharp, usually round or semicircular blade that cuts precisely. These knives are often made of robust stainless steel to ensure a long service life and sharp cuts. Cutter knives should be checked regularly, resharpened, or replaced when worn to ensure optimal cutting quality. These machine knives (sickle knives) can usually be resharpened to maintain their cutting performance economically.
