CARBIDE CIRCULAR BLADES
Carbide circular blades are circular blades made from carbide blanks. Carbide circular blades are particularly distinguished by their long service life. The production of carbide circular blades is more complex, as carbide can primarily be machined by grinding or erosion. Carbide circular saw blades are toothed cutting tools. The cutting edges are made of carbide, a very hard and wear-resistant material consisting of a mixture of tungsten carbide and binders. These teeth are firmly welded or screwed onto the backing plate. In solid carbide circular saw blades, the teeth are made entirely of carbide, making them particularly durable. The hard and sharp carbide coating allows these blades to cut very precisely and efficiently. The carbide teeth are extremely wear-resistant, meaning that the saw blade will last a long time if used correctly, even on hard materials.
